All singing, all dancing and all conquering, one of 2005's best new acts, The Go! Team re-emerge in 2006 with Ladyflash. I'd like to say that it's an all new release as well, but it just aint true - it's one of these new-fangled re-release jobs, damn and blast.
Yes indeed, it's actually once, twice, three times a Ladyflash (cheers Lionel). A dedicated single release in 2004, and a slot on the Mercury nominated debut album Thunder, Lightning, Strike in 2005 apparently just wasn't enough. You'd have thought that anyone who was ever going to hear this already would have, but I suppose you can never be too careful.
Ladyflash 2006 rears its rather brilliant head in a shortened version, but still chock full of fun-filled beats, weirdo child singing and pure, unbounded energy. Think The Avalanches, De La Soul and The Jackson 5 all mashed up together in a brilliant blob of regressive enjoyment. It's magnificent, obviously, but then you probably already knew that.
