Goldfrapp's fourth release from an album of nine tracks is Pilots (On A Star). Remixed from the album version, the track features Alison Goldfrapp's now trademark operatic vocoder antics and sultry whispers, combining with Will Gregory's soundtrack-like music to uplifting effect.
The Mercury-nominated album Felt Mountain is due for a follow-up this year and the band are presently hard at work in the studio preparing it. In the meantime, Pilots (On A Star) comes backed by the original mix of Lovely Head and a live recording of album closer Horse Tears.
CD2 comes with remixes of Utopia, Pilots (On A Star) and Lovely Head and a video for the single.
