Comedy and music don't always go hand in hand, with comedy rap being a particularly bad example. Those who remember Morris Minor And The Majors for example, could be excused for shuddering at the mention of Stutter Rap.
Goldie Lookin' Chain are a whole different kettle of fish however. Your Mother's Got A Penis is rude, crude and absolutely hilarious, and it still possesses the knack to put a smile on your face after countless listens. The downright filthy lyrics mean it won't pick up the radio play that Guns Don't Kill People Rappers Do did, but their ever growing army of fans won't care about that.
An inspired sample of Eric Clapton's '80s hit Behind The Mask means that this stands up to repeated play on a musical basis too. Whether it will all still sound as good in a year's time is another matter, but for now GLC are the funniest band in the country.
