Hailing from Mordor, sorry Morden, in south-west London this is the latest offering, and first official full single, from the youthful foursome. Permeated with the obvious influences of The Futureheads and The Jam this is a clear improvement on their previous stuff.

Having made it onto the playlists of an array of radio stations this is certainly bringing them even further into the mainstream arena. Originally picked up by xfm on the basis of a demo recorded in a shed, they've polished the overall package since then. The basic idea remains the same though, with lead singer Rhys' vocals moving from egotism to uncertainty in that way that only a teenage boy can manage.

It's catchy, if a little over-energized, and we can definitely look forward to bigger and better things from these guys. They've definitely moved away from being a group of lads in a mate's bedroom to being a serious act, but they need to move fast and capitalise. There are a lot of bands with similar sounds too numerous to mention that could leave them in the shade if the first album is a disappointment.
