Taken from the critically acclaimed album Soundboy Rock, this latest release from veteran duo features the most recent and seemingly most reviled ex-member of Sugababes, Mutya Buena.
To say that it starts off sounding a bit '80s would be something like describing the Pope as a tad religious. For all the modern vocals over the top it still sounds like someone's taken a slice of vintage Madonna, thrown in a bit of Human League whizzed it round in a blender and stuck a sparkler and paper umbrella in the top. At least they spared us the glace cherry
It's one to get used to though, as it's so blatantly aimed at the Radio 1 'Inoffensive to Grannies and Small Children' slot that you're going to be hearing it in various remixed forms from now until Christmas, when hopefully a new batch of novelty pap will kick it into the bargain bin it belongs in.
