Creating something of a furore already, it's a fairly safe bet that if you haven't heard of Hadouken! yet, then you surely soon will. They have an exclamation mark on their name after all.
Apparently part of the "Grindie" scene (that's a mix of Grime and Indie incidentally - do try and keep up) Hadouken! are nothing if not vociferous in the hitting of musical bases. With the exception of James Smith's vocals everything else sounds like a rackety old computer has been given an idea of every kind of current musical trend and left for a few hours to create a kind of mash up.
Keyboards rush through time, sounding as if they're echoing from the '70s and slowly morphing into the skull crushing samples you'd find at all the best Ketamine fuelled free parties. Chuck in some guitars that wouldn't sound out of place on a Hardcore record and you've got a pretty exciting mix that doesn't sound a million miles away from what Senser were doing back in the day.
The only problem is that at times it does sound like they've thrown too much at the song, clogging it up slightly. They don't have quite the same dynamism as Rolo Tomassi for example, but Leap of Faith shows that Hadouken! is a band positively brimming with ideas and influences.
