The ultimate musical homage is to name your band after a favourite artist's song or lyric (Rolling Stones or Radiohead anyone?). The Hazey Janes (a four-piece Dundee-based band) have done just this, naming themselves after a Nick Drake song. And it's done them no harm...

Having supported Snow Patrol and Cast, The Hazeys were previously in the shops with a mini-album in October 2004 (worked on by Manic Street Preachers producer Mark Freegard). Your Enemy is the debut single from their yet-to-be-released album, Hotel Radio.

The song is upbeat and rocky with a guitar driving the catchy pop tune. It sounds similar to Malcolm In The Middle's theme tune Boss Of Me by They Might Be Giants. Certainly, Your Enemy is worth a listen - especially in the summer, in a car and with the windows down.
