Unleash those analogue synths - here come Hiem. Sheffield electro scene stalwarts Nick (ex-Venini) and Bozz (ex-All Seeing I) here inform listeners that "We are your friendz" over surprisingly warm synth humms and riffs.

I for one raise an eyebrow at the duo's red boiler suits and none-more-camp copper caps - visual entertainment doesn't come to all electronic acts easily, but Hiem look likely to have that area covered.

"Don't look if you've no eyes, Don't talk if you don't mind..." Lyrically there's nothing here to write home about. But lovers of Cabaret Voltaire and Ladytron - the latter also formed by an ex-Venini member, Danny Hunt - should enjoy the feel of Hiem rubbing around the insides of their heads pleading friendliness.
