Since their formation in Spring 2003 this quartet from West London - barely out of adolescence - have already built strong interest amongst record labels and music lovers with their distinctive and infectious brand of synthesiser-pop-rock.
Crashophilia is a melting pot of sonic booms, manic drumming, a steady bass line and sturdy vocals, which open with a deafening siren and a high-pitched squeal that will make you want to press the repeat button even before you get to the two B-sides. Cybering is the same fare but with a bigger taste of the male/female harmonies, while Take A Line From Your Favorite Song is a little slower yet just as likeable, largely due to co-vocalist/synthesiser player Emma's rather attractive voice.
This is a raucous, road burner of a single: it's a no-holds barred kick in the face. So please take note kiddy-boppers: The Horrors will not scare the hell out of you - they'll just throw you out of the way to play some decent music.
