Will You Still Be In Love With Me Next Year? is the Scouse trio's stab at a Christmas single. Take a band dripping with the trappings of a novelty act, stick them in the studio to record a novelty single and, as you'd image, the outcome works rather well.

Part punk stand-up, part pop-poetry, bittersweet lyrics over a gently low-fi beat should be much more acceptable as a Christmas Number One than Cliff Richard but as the world is mad, it probably won't work that way. Shame.
