Love You More is the standout track from The Hours' debut album, Narcissus Road, a pacey list of a song in which the singer tells the love of his life all the things he likes her more than - since the list includes The Sopranos and his record collection I think we can take it that he is indeed smitten.

There's a certain affirmation to songs like this, a reassurance that you are on the same wavelength as the band, that you get their points of reference from the arty (Caravaggio) to the kitsch (the Elvis 1968 Comeback Special) - Pulp invoke the same sense of shared history in Bad Cover Version from We Love Life.

Musically it sees the band at their sharpest and spikiest, harking back to 80s post-punk bands.
