One of the year's most blissful guitar parts graces Howling Bells' third single from their eponymous and well-received debut album. The Australians have toured almost non-stop this year, rising from support act status to headlining London's ICA and gaining fans at a slew of festival appearances.
Like Blessed Night and Low Happening before it, Setting Sun is one of the album's undoubted highlights and could be reworked from its current melodic rock stylings to slot comfortably into a chillout set. It's mostly in that guitar part, but the title suggests sitting on a beach with a Jackie D and Coke while watching night fall.
Classy stuff, but by now you'll have the album and know that already, right?
