Scandinavian Ida Maria has quickly developed the knack of making heady, intoxicating, giddy pop-rock that's reminiscent of that first rush towards drunken mayhem. So perhaps it's appropriate that her new single is all about drinking.

"Whiskey please, I need some whiskey please" hollers Ida at the start, before skidding through another frantic punky rush featuring a glorious chorus about bumping into things and running round in circles. Like previous gems such as Stella or Oh My God, it's commercial to be on the radio, yet retains a sad, almost sinister edge to it.

It bodes extremely well for her forthcoming debut album - she'll be Queen of your little world soon enough.
