Would you want to kiss a paranoid Cockney Sparrow? Or rather be beaked by one? This bouncy little tune will be most likely to resonate around ones head for at least a day after listening to it with its rhythmic and simply sung chorus.

The female singing voice, "do-do d do-do d do-do d doooo-doooo" followed my whistling in the same tune leaves us wondering if Innercity Pirates are reversing bird-human roles and taking their musical innovation from the treetops.

If Alphabeat's chirpy pop tunes grab your goat, then Innercity Pirates are worth slamming on the old iPod. This is a colourful bit of tunage to turn on alongside Henry the Hoover at home.

Yet unless these guys fill the stage with voluptuous 'Sparra's' in a live set or have dance moves similar to that of a buoy in the sea, then Cockney Sparra may just float on by without stopping to make much of an impact.
