This is easily a candidate for a broody '80s soundtrack (Donnie Darko anyone?); even Nick Cave would cast a twisted evil eyebrow in acknowledgement.

Groomed and primed as better looking Hives, the boys' look is as deceiving as the Arthur Baker credit. What the rinse supremo "remixed' is indeed a job for the intelligence services. He's done as good a job as the Neptunes did on Sympathy For The Devil.

The only obstacle to these New Yorkers is the steeped cool they blemish upon their jet-black, moody pop rock. A minor hurdle, easily cleared if the poses and New York pretentiousness drop. Otherwise a warm thumbs up is rewarded.
