Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills (EMI)
release date: March 11 2002

Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills
Forget nu-metal for a moment or two and remember old metal. The kind of stuff they used to release back in the early 1980s, before even Metallica went mainstream. It was at that time that a long haired chap with a penchant for fencing shrieked "Run To The Hills" at us for the first time. He was and indeed still is Bruce Dickenson. The band was and still is Iron Maiden.

The band are donating all proceeds from the single and recently announced gigs to the Clive Burr Multiple Sclerosis Trust Fund. Burr was Iron Maiden's drummer..

The single precedes a live album recorded in front of 250,000 fans at the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil, January 2001. On Run To The Hills, the original version of the track is backed by a live version, taken from the new album - Rock In Rio.
