The latest slice of folk-punk-pop energy from Jack Peņate is another reason to ask yourself why you haven't got him on your 'must listen to more from' list yet - unless of course, you have.
With elements of great performers from Graham Coxon to Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly audible in his music, there's much more to recommend it than a simple review can convey.
In best singer-songwriter style, there's even a story behind the title - young Jack's stuck on a train, leaving a town he's not sure he wants to leave. The concept gives him ample chance to display his skills with words as well as a good chord and the result is a great little single that's a worthy addition to the musical nuggets he's steadily been turning out over the last year. He's a real talent, and this should make his debut album, due out later this year, one to look out for.
