It takes some talent to make a record that's so inoffensive it actually becomes offensive, but that's exactly what Jamie Pearce has managed with More Than Enough.

Pearce has toured with Blue in the past, and he's obviously been studiously taking notes, as this achieves the impressive feat of being blander than all of Duncan, Lee, Anthony and Simon's solo records all put together. It's a big power ballad, with all the resident cliches in place: a string section, a big chorus (where you can almost picture Pearce jumping off his stool) and lyrics that could have been spewed out of a computer program, they're that unoriginal and banal.

It is, frankly, just horrible and if Mr Pearce becomes the huge pop star that Cent Records obviously think he will be, then it says more about this nation's taste than anything else. "You've said more than enough to make me walk away". You said it, mate.
