Jet are an Australian band who are about to release an extremely good, Radio 1-friendly single, which is almost perfect for our Detroit-drenched musical times.

On first listen you will hear the bass line from Lust For Life and this will slowly gather some of Keith Richard's guitar. Nic Cester's voice is strong, well-crafted and very familiar.

The levels are spot on and the lyrics, like the sound, are born in the '70s music scene: "Big black boots/Long brown hair/She's so sweet/With her death black stare." You'll be hearing a lot more of this band in the future.
