If you hanker for the simpler pleasures of when things were Ocean Colour Scene, Toploader, Cast retro-bluestastic, then Joff Winks Band (unfortunately no relation to Higher State Of Consciousness Josh) serve up good old, non-challenging, cliché-ridden, earnest grunt rhythms played on (gosh!) real instruments for a bit of innocent dad-rockin', despite being only 12... probably.

Possessing all the bite and originality of a toddler dribbling, this is a workmanlike chug that will probably be championed by a cloth-eared goon at Radio 2 and thus catapulted blinking, unwittingly into the spotlight.

"Who's going to fit these shoes?" they keep imploring (clenched fist, shake of hair because they... mean it, man) to no-one inparticular. How they wish they were lumberjacks and lived in sepia-tinged men's cologne adverts. So do we.
