Usually an indie band with a girl performing high-pitched feminine harmonies is a recipe for disaster. However, in this case, it seems to brings the group together.

They incorporate typical indie elements such as: guy with regional accent, electro beats, dreamy guitar riffs. It's all been done before and better, but they're not as shocking as some of the regurgitated nonsense out there.

The repetitive sound of Kelly Southern's "do-do-do-do's" gets drowned in the proper guitar sounds near the end of the track which are loud, and the beats heavy. The addition of this makes the track passable, otherwise it's just another band churning out the same stuff.
