With vocals that sound remarkably like Inner City and a woozy beat meant for, well, chill-out rooms, Josh One's Contemplation is a great big loop of Open Up Your Mind - and little else.
King Britt offers a remix similar to the radio edit, while the original - and even woozier - mix also makes an appearance. It wouldn't sound out of place as the soundtrack to your next bath, for even the vocalist seems to be yawning her way through it.
But the release is saved by the inclusion of the somewhat catchier, meatier Alex Neri Road Trip Remix, all '80s synth sounds and beats. But for this, Contemplation would be a strangely forgettable musical experience.
