The latest single from the Belgian-born singer/songwriter's debut album Different, this is delightful little piece of summer nonsense in the vein of Dannii Mingoue et al. You can sum this release up in one word - Eurovision. You can almost envisage the satin costumes and ridiculous dance routine whilst you listen to it - which is fair enough, as it was Belgium's Eurovision Song Contest entry this year.

Having already taken the charts across Europe by storm, Ms Ryan is now launching herself on the UK public, and it's a refreshing change. In the midst of a serious heatwave, and whilst the charts are crammed full of identikit guitar bands and insipid warblers, it's nice to hear a bit of mindless, non-pretentious fluff. But this isn't your normal fluff. It's über-fluff. This is the sort of fluff that the Queen's dust-bunnies and the gunk from Beckham's navel want to be when they grow up.

Brits have traditionally turned their noses up at this sort of fare, but they'll be dancing away to this in clubs across the Med on their holidays whether they realise it or not. It's never going to win any awards or critical praise, but who cares. It's summery, it's catchy, it's as camp as a row of pink tents and it's just what the doctor ordered.
