Kathryn Williams and Neill MacColl - Come With Me

When musical chemistry makes a complete match between two singers it becomes immediately evident on record. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss achieved this last year, and now Kathryn Williams has teamed up with Neill MacColl to find that magic spark.

Come With Me is a rather more languorous affair, tapping into that moment just before dawn when the birds start singing, and, if you're lucky, a tired contentment sets in.

It certainly will if this is your soundtrack. Williams provides the vocal lead above a softly arpeggiated guitar, MacColl's wafer-thin falsetto harmonising where appropriate. The song's progression is inevitable - and all the listener has to do is sit back and enjoy.
