Kenesis are four highly rated teenagers from Bolton whose single Everything Destroys Itself and resulting mini-album, Worship Yourself caused ripples of excitement through the music press last year.

Comparable to early Manic Street Preachers, Billboard Beauty thrashes by in just under three minutes highlighting some angst ridden lyrics such as "nothing hurts like solitude". Rather like Ash, but without Tim Wheeler's songwriting genius, this mixes pop sensibility with a smartly snotty punk attitude.

Frighteningly confident and backed by two tracks of equal quality, this release marks Kenesis as a definite name to watch for in 2003.
