Kubb re-release their second single Remain in May - here's what we had to say about the single on its original release back in August...
If you're missing Keane's sensitive, Radio 2 friendly vibes just now, Harry Collier's Kubb could help to fill your days with new single Remain - as long as you don't mind a helping of guitar with your piano.
Kubb's second single from forthcoming debut album Mother is surprisingly slick on production for anyone who's seen Kubb's Jools Holland show performance or heard astonishing debut single Somebody Else - which it is utterly unlike.
Collier's whispery vocal delivery in the verses gives way to a rousing climax. With a verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure, there's nothing particularly remarkable about it, save to showcase Collier's range - his belting power used in Somebody Else is here conversely restrained, helping to confirm Kubb as one of the most interesting commercial prospects this autumn.
