A pair of scissors have been brought in for Kylie's next surefire hit - no less than Jake Shears and Babydaddy, with whom Ms Minogue has collaborated for some pure, sugar coated pop.

Anyone expecting high camp might be a bit disappointed, but after one listen to this glitzy number will not be left wanting more. Kylie's voice has rarely sounded so assured as she soars into the chorus, melting a heart or two along the way, with the Scissor Sisters' trademark beats a perfect backing. The tune is a memorable one, up there with the best Kylie melodies.

Of course it won't reach Christmas number one - Band Aid will see to that - but this will do a great job promoting her greatest hits album, and will further support her eligibility for pop's hall of fame.
