Last Stop China Town - Just Ashes

buy music

This debut single is set to launch Last Stop China into the record collections of those who already own CDs by the likes of Killing Joke and Gwar. It's tough, rugged metal with some kick ass moves to destroy anyone who dares cross its path.

Despite its heaviness and a rather harsh riff, Just Ashes is most certainly melodic metal. It has a contemporary metal sound with a catchy chorus and the potential to be a strong live favourite. It's nothing to blow your mind, but you can't help but flow with the melody for the few brief minutes it lasts. They're not 80s Metallica, but they will pick up strong results from other teenage fan bases.

Their album Vital Signs is due out in 2006, and as this single is actually quite promising, it will be interesting to hear if the fierce attitude can last longer than the three songs on this CD single.
