Liberty X - Jumpin (V2)
release date: 20 October 2003

Liberty X - Jumpin

Fresh-ish from their Richard X soundclash Being Nobody, the X return with a perfunctory yet pleasant take on the everyone's-up-for-a-knees-up tune that pop acts have to release occasionally. While not up there with Just A Little, it still makes mincemeat out of their reality TV contemporaries.

Looking, well, like they should kill their stylist, who clearly thought actual clothing would spoil the fake tattooed rose bush effect all over the ladies - giving off a tribute-to-Five-Star vibe, and again it's heavy jackets and boots for the boys (sigh).

Of the six on offer, the American Desi mix is the best of the bunch, but let's just hope they've packed a few more actual tunes on their second album, or it will be a David Sneddon afterlife for all concerned.
