Teenage girl groups? Rubbish, aren't they? Well, prepare to be surprised by The Like. These three Californian girls specialise in bright, summery pop that has already attracted the likes of Maroon 5, who they're currently supporting.
Falling Away is like a poppier version of The Go-Go's, with lead singer Z Berg's vocals recalling icons such as Chrissie Hynde and Debbie Harry. The supporting track, Too Late, is of a darker hue - rather like P J Harvey on anti-depressants
The Like have already been the subject of rave reviews in prestigious publications over the pond - give them a few months and it won't just be little girls and their suspicious looking uncles who take an interest in girl groups.
