The self-styled 'Queen Bee' of rap returns with the first single from her new album, La Bella Mafia.

The Jump Off is everything we have come to expect from the majority of big-budget, commerical rap music. That equates to funkin' beats, some clever samples and an all-round flawless production, courtesy of the seemingly ubiquitous Timbaland. However, sadly it also means yawn-inducing lyrics that flit from the shallow-but-harmless to needlessly sordid bragging.

If such things do not bother you, be warned, however, that The Jump Off is not the strongest tune Lil' Kim has come up with either. Presumably the new album is a lot stronger.
