A Christmas ballad from Lucie Silvas, signing off what has been a remarkably successful year for the singer-songwriter. It's also arguably the best single to be lifted from her Breathe In album, which makes it easier to forgive the fact that it's actually the fifth track from that record to get a separate release.
So, corporate flogging aside, her voice helps to transform this into a heartfelt track, with the line "and as I leave it all behind, you're still emblazoned in my mind" ringing true. However I would advise you leave this one alone if you're going to be parted from a loved one this Christmas, as it could well open the floodgates!
With the album put to bed, it will be interesting to see what Silvas' next move will be - will she decide to stay in with the gaggle of artists loved by a certain Mr Parkinson, or will she exploit the versatility her voice clearly possesses? We shall see...
