Luna Halo have got it all. Designer haircuts. Chic apparel. Rock star posing. Mediocre songs - well almost all.
While New Drug has a teasing trashiness about it and a killer of a chorus, it seems to lack that certain oomph to make it great. The problem resides in the production department - too stripped down and simplistic that it makes my 16-year-old brother's noisecore outfit sound like Pink Floyd.
The scandalously short "EP" of three songs hikes up a notch with the menacing Foo Fighters-alike Over the Edge. And for once a singer with a voice to match. Half A World Away is busk-standard Mellon Collie. Worth a rusty 20p at most. A New Drug? Still ain't found it...
