Confessions On A Dancefloor, Her Madgesty's collaboration with Stuart Price and defiantly one of her best albums yet, has already produced two chart-topping singles. Jam-packed with dancetastic techno pop, Get Together is just one of the top-notch tracks from the million-selling record.
There's no ABBA this time, just big trancey synths and an all-consuming bass and Madge's comforting words: "I'll make you feel better/If it's bitter at the start/Then it's sweeter in the end." Get Together is, however, sweet as all the way through.
Whatever you think of Madonna's musings on Kaballah or her Arnie-like musculature, tracks like Get Together underline the indisputable fact that she really has nothing left to prove. If you've yet to splurge on the album, you should need no further inducement than this.
