Although religion and politics should really be put aside, it's hard to think of much else when confronted by Matisyahu, a Hassidic Jewish rapper. Youth though packs a pretty big musical punch with its thrashy guitars, speaker breaking bass, and reggae tip.
Whether the "right move" he is referring to is Aliyah, or a more inclusive calling to make the correct moral decisions, you cannot ignore this track. Slightly dark and menacing, it is a persuasive, affecting song.
Matisyahu performs the track with verve and passion and building crescendos which explode with a ferociousness that you usually associate with the most reckless and hedonistic rock bands. Truly terrifying stuff.
