They're back! A good 85% of the population have dreaded this day and upon hearing this single, will remember why. After all, if you hated McFly's cheesy Beach Boys influenced pop in the past, then you'll certainly hate it now.
Lyrically though, the boys have moved up a notch in the world of respectability. Once it was about a girl with "five colours in her hair", then it was "All About You" and now "All the alcohol in the world could never help me to forget...". Oh dear, have McFly drastically converted from bright eyed pop wonders to miserable two finger wielding Oasis wannabes? Well to be honest, if you saw the CD cover you'd probably consider it... But I'm not here to judge a book by its cover and upon reviewing a McFly CD, you can pretty much guess what you're going to get - a 3 minute radio friendly poptastic tune, and on this occasion I was not disappointed.
The boys are still delivering songs of the same calibre that made them so popular in the first place. So it's obvious, if you like McFly you'll love this. However, if you don't - at least you'll get a coaster out of it.
