As if her Adidas-sponsored inflictions on British pop weren't enough, Sporty Spice, aka Mel C is back with her second (who releases this stuff?) solo album. Second single Yeh Yeh Yeh is part Rebublica electro pop, part Sporty Spice still trying (but failing) to re-invent herself.
With muted guitar strums now being used by everyone from Appleton to Girls Aloud, and clichéd drum track in the chorus, the only original facet offered in the three and a half minutes of tripe is that she managed to fit 'ramifications' into the lyrics.
One can only hope that enough former Spice Girl fanatics and Pop Idol punters will see sense and not buy this single (or the album!), and with any luck, Ms. Chisholm will get the "We've an exciting opportunity on Japanese TV for you to consider" line from her agent.
