Consider their fortunes. The Arctic Monkeys have had two albums and gone stellar - even their bum fluff has halos at the moment. Their mates Milburn, on the other hand, have found the going rather tougher, with promising early live showings countered by extremely negative press for the debut album.

Well here they are again - and showing their resolve commendably. This is the chorus they were searching for on the first album, and crucially it takes them stylistically in a different direction from the Monkeys. Still quite raw, and definitely the product of a young band, this nevertheless has a hook that takes root on first listen.

So perhaps Milburn are on their way up from the bottom. The forthcoming album will prove if this is a flash in the pan, but the signs are promising.
