To anyone old enough to have worked in an office for a while - especially given the current fashion for endless corporate restructures - this tirade against the evil empire known as Human Resources should be an anthem of defiance. When it comes to the crunch, however, it's just another standard example of Million Dead's current style - all heavy Morrissey verses and big wrought-emotion choruses.

It is a great song, at least on the album. There's a little problem though - the whole song builds up to a sing-along on; "I'm only working here 'cause I need your fucking money," and it's great. It's a sentiment shared by a vast proportion of the population, too. Unfortunately we're in radio edit territory for the single, and it's done so badly that the climax to the song becomes a major let-down. They’ve left in the "ing" - bet they thought that would remind the cool kids that there was an f-word in here once, but it sounds really stupid.

Oh well. Looks like the HR department got the last laugh yet again, dammit. We'll get them in the end...
