Like the Sugababes there's something universally appealing about Mis-teeq's urban brand of pop. It's not really R n B or anything but tacky chart pop, but one has to admit that there is a charm to the infectious tunes.
Style lists the values these girls are looking for in a man, and there is an "independent women" aura given off by the track. The song is helped by being embedded in a funky loop of the Pet Shop Boys' West End Girls giving it that sought after retro vibe.
Of course Style contains a standard rap from Mis-teeq's resident emcee, which is somewhat substandard but it's only brief. At a radio friendly three minutes expect to be hearing a lot of Style in the next few weeks.
