Don't believe his detractors - they're just jealous. Moby's album 18 has already sold over a million copies since May and we're only coming on to the second single, the ridiculously catchy Extreme Ways. With a powerful bassline and catchy, repetitive chorus, this is Moby at his best.

It has the added bonus of being in the new Matt Damon vehicle The Bourne Identity to help it shift even more copies. But even without that, it is one of those songs that doesn't let go of your head. And like previous single We Are All Made Of Stars it features no sampled gospel divas, just Moby on vocals.

Another smash hit, then. But don't begrudge him his success. He's found the sweet spot and he's playing up to it beautifully. Hats off to the little guy.
