When you've sold ten million albums, how do you go one better? If you're Moby, the answer seems to be to stick to what you're good at and evolve it.
This first single from the mildly spacey vegetarian star doesn't map out much new territory beyond the world of Play, but with that album being somewhat flawless, there's little harm in that, especially when the tune is as catchy as We Are All Made Of Stars. A memorable counter-melody played on lead guitar is underpinned by a wash of synth chords and Moby's cracked, effects-laden vocals, all piled high on a captivating rhythm.
The backing tracks include Landing, featuring vocals by Azure Ray, and Soul To Love, which sounds just a little like something chilled from Gat Decor. Various mixes make up the second CD, including Moby's own "downtempo" mix and offerings from DJ Tiesto and Timo Maas, all of which appear with clubs in mind. Welcome back, superstar.
