Gone Up In Flames is not a bad single; it's undoubtedly catchy enough, mainly because the main vocal hangs around the pinching of Subterranean Homesick Blues' scattershot street-rap delivery. Still, that song's a classic, and it certainly gives Gone Up In Flames a leg up; grabbing the attention long enough for Morning Runner to try and lure you in.
It's all a little bit safe, though. I mean, have you actually met a morning runner? They're all middle aged men in tight-fitting tracksuits, trying add a few more years to their lives by jogging around in the most ungainly fashion. They sweat pure lard and breathe more heavily than a horny walrus on a phone-sex line.
