The second single from debut album Messy Century, I Gotta Sing isn't one of the standout tracks for me since it's more formulaic than most on the album and lacks the enagaging weirdness of other tracks. And this isn't even the album version - the fractured central section is missing, presumably to trim the length. That leaves a perfectly pleasant song but not one that's going to cause any rumpus.

The good news is that the B-sides are great and make a purchase worthwhile. Can We features lots of lovely bleeps, bloops and vocoded voice, producing a highly satisfying other-worldly feel.

Cavern Deity mixes ambient noises and eerie strings in a slow build, errupting into a terrific catchy chorus. It keeps on developing too, right to the end of the 4 minutes 13 seconds. Guess that's too long for radio then...
