Ice Cream tackles the issues of urban confrontations: "You could have a knife / Stab me in the gut / Bleeding on the floor / Should’ve kept my mouth shut" through the majesty of glitzy, shimmering dance pop.
Jostling with beefy beats, and batty synths, Muscles concludes that "Ice cream is gonna save the day" as he takes you on a journey to the packed dancefloor of 2050. B-side, Dolphin, is an intricate foray into the bleepy world of electronica - the mood darkens as heavy synths fight for supremacy.
With the likes of Soulwax and Robyn singing the praises of Muscles, an unashamed, unrelenting, and undeniable dance pop swagger, and a forthcoming UK album release, 2008 looks set to be rather handsome for Muscles.
