The title says it all really. My Girls are three young ladies trying to shoulder their way into an already crowded R'n'B scene. The problem is they really aren't doing anything to warrant much attention. This is a fairly bland affair that does little to grab you or insist that this is a single by a band that needs further investigation.

In a genre dominated by vocal prowess (whether that be via continual warbling or not) not one of My Girls has a voice that suggests an ounce of originality. You can barely tell one voice from the next as they work their way through a decidedly flaccid pop tune that doesn't quite know what market to appeal to. Do they want to be Girls Aloud? Do they want to be Eternal? Do we really care?

The simple fact is that this just isn't good enough to make much of an impression anywhere. Sure, it's inoffensive and predictable, so it should have some prospects on radio but there just isn't enough of a hook to make it stand out. For a song that follows the basic premise of Nelly and Kelly Rowland's monster hit Dilemma, that is really saying something
