Great drum intro, jangly guitars that jump about over a continuously ace drum beat, a lead singer with a distinctive and clear voice ... Myriad Creatures are pretty damn good.
A London four-piece currently based in Berlin, in an effort to escape the "saturation of the London scene", the space they've given themselves really does seem to have afforded them the ability to stand back, take a breath and blow it back out in the form of a debut single that has a lot to offer.
There are traces of everything from the tail-end of Glam to the White Stripes in this radio-friendly slice of indie jollity. That should be more than enough to leave you wanting more.
