It amazes me to see the lack of progression in some of the poppier areas of dance music over the last five years. No, make that seven - Look At Us could easily be a track lifted from the first Sash! album, proving there must be market out there somewhere for this kind of soft, trance-tinged pop.
At least it has a tune, albeit one that takes "Groovy Kind Of Love" lowered a few tones, and it has the kind of lyrics you'd expect - "I know that you'll be true" the most profound of them.
Very much a disposable pop record, and whilst it's nothing personal against Katie Halliday's sweet vocals and the immaculate yet lifeless production, this sort of tune should really be put to bed.
