American band OK Go are a burrow of clever bunnies. Capitalising on the popularity of free-to-view internet sites such as You Tube and the success of low-budget music videos, in the autumn of 2005 they released online the video to their debut single A Million Ways, off their second album. It cost $10 to make, was an original choreographed dance routine and became an internet sensation.
Here It Goes Again, single number two from the same album, follows suit. But how do you better a cheer-leader-esque dance routine with four grown men? That's easy - put them on treadmills! And it's hypnotically smooth. (Just ask the audience at the VMAs.)
The song itself is as classy and cool as the video. A sort of flamboyant nerd/geek rock, similar to Weezer, it's so catchy you'll be singing along after just one listen (and forwarding the video link onto everyone in your email contacts list). Two exceptionally large thumbs up.
