One Minute Silence - We Bounce (Taste)
release date: March 31 2003
One Minute Silence - We Bounce
With lyrics like "If I kill, can I not be the President?", and a cover depicting what the band obviously view as American colonialism, We Bounce will be seen by many as an appropriately timed release.

This quick-paced UK metal track captures interest from the start with a phased and damped fast guitar riff soon being joined by Brian "Yap" Barry's breathless angry vocals. Its all been subtly remixed to be more rap-like by Rich Costey, perhaps in an attempt to make the single more palatable to the mainstream.

However the chorus - which is more shout and jump-along than sing-along - isn't really mainstream material, and in fact lets down the whole song with its musical weakness. So any talk of 2003 being OMS' breakthrough year may be a little premature.
